Briggs and Barrett Project holds remembrance at Nursery of Hope
NORFOLK - Saturday morning, the Briggs and Barrett project hosted a gathering at their Nursery for Hope for families who have lost their children.
Each tree in the nursery is dedicated to a family and their baby. There are 34 at Skyview Lake just west of 25th street in Norfolk. Two more are near the splash pad at Embrace Park.

NORFOLK - The Briggs and Barrett Project has started a Nursery of Hope west of Skyview Lake.
Numerous families who have lost a child planted a tree in remembrance of them Saturday morning.
Allison Uecker said they had everyone introduce themselves and say their baby’s name so they could recognize them.

The Briggs and Barrett Project was the beneficiary of a soft opening of the new Raising Canes Chicken Fingers restaurant in Norfolk with that restaurant donating 100% of its sales during that soft opening.
